Singapore’s three driving schools suspended approximately 13,400 accounts suspected of bot activity in 2025, according to Coordinating Minister for National Security K. Shanmugam. The schools—Singapore Safety Driving Centre, ComfortDelGro Driving Centre, and Bukit Batok Driving Centre—have implemented anti-bot measures including CAPTCHA authentication and account restrictions in response to the issue. The Government does not plan to introduce a centralised booking system, as the schools operate under different commercial models.

- 💬 MP Gabriel Lam (Sembawang GRC) raised the parliamentary question about bot usage and asked whether a centralised or queue-based booking system would be considered for fair access.
- ⚖️ While there are no laws against using bots or scripts to conduct web scraping, services for “camper” bots have been advertised on e-commerce platforms such as Carousell since 2024, with users directed to Telegram or Discord links to purchase bot services.
