Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan visited the Middle East from May 2 to 5, where he reaffirmed the importance of upholding free transit passage through the Strait of Hormuz and discussed areas of cooperation such as energy security. During the working visit, he met with counterparts from the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
